Sun Country will begin flying to Liberia in January 2012.
Sun Country Airlines will begin next year nonstop service from St. Paul, Minnesota, in the U.S. to Liberia, capital of the northwestern Guanacaste province, the airline announced Monday.
The route will begin Jan. 13 and continue through April 13. The flights leave weekly, every Friday.
The Daniel Oduber (Liberia) Airport is inaugurating a $27 million terminal that will expand the airport's capacity from 900 people to 1,500 (TT, April 13).
Sun Country's hub is located in at St. Paul International Airport in the twin cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
